Abundance And Celebrities

Developing abundance is something that only you, as an individual, and you alone can do. It is something that leads down the road to achieving not only physical benefits, but mental and spiritual satisfaction too. It’s all in the mind as they say. But in order for anyone to achieve this feeling of abundance, they must first recognize their own honest needs, wants and ambitions, in order that they may pull opportunity, like minded people, and potentially beneficial circumstances, into their sphere of existence. Developing abundance takes hard work and determination, but the rewards are awesome.

How do people know when their lives lack abundance? The most common ‘give away’ is that they are deeply unhappy with some phase or other of their situation. It is often the case that people think of material possessions when they consider abundance. But the truth of the matter is that the people that have accumulated a great deal of personal wealth, but who still remain unhappy, do not experience an abundant life. It is often a sad fact of life that there are many wealthy individuals who despite their wealth have few friends, or do not even trust those that they have, and end up living under fulfilled existences.

Therefore, when you develop abundance it focuses on the way you approach life, including your patterns of thought, your emotional habits and your inner beliefs. However, you can make a significant difference in your life when you are willing to change your manner of thinking and speaking. You will also benefit by developing maturity and emotional responses that are positive.

Everyone lives in this abundant universe yet not all of them experience abundance in the same ways. Opening yourself up to the receiving channels of the developing abundance process is essential. Unresolved issues block positive vibrations. By focusing on the negative aspects and emotions of guilt, shame, anxiety and anger will blind you to those good things available to you. It can prevent you from experiencing positive occurrences.

So if you are sincere about wanting an abundant life, you must also set out to face and conquer any demons that may be haunting you. Sadly, many victims around the globe continue to be tormented. They are still haunted by traumatic events and the feelings they elicited, and along the way they developed negative beliefs that put them in a recurrent cycle of pain. It is critical that anyone who wants to live with abundance learns to release that pain, put the past to rest, forgive, and move forward.

Internal self-development is key to acquiring an abundance mindset. First, you must review your life truthfully and consider your beliefs, taking special note of negative thoughts that tend to recur. After an honest assessment, you can begin to create goals to help you develop personally and heal and thus begin moving toward more abundance in your life.

It is easier to talk about making mental and emotional changes than it is to do them. However, you can use various useful and helpful tools. For instance, you may be interested in applied kinesiology, energy therapies such as EFT or cognitive behaviour therapy. These can assist you in making the desired changes in your life. Developing abundance from the inside out is the willingness to do whatever you have to and being persistent about it. This is essential.

Of course, achieving abundance doesn’t happen all internally. You also need to take specific action. In this regard, you need to create goals and develop action plans to make those goals reality to get from the here and now to the life you want to live.

The road to abundance is trodden via a combination of inner change and outer focus. There are many people who although they are good goal setters and achievers don’t benefit from an abundant life because they simply do not believe or even see it. Having the benefit is no good if you do not know how to appreciate it. It is like having no benefit at all and cannot create happiness or contentment. To truly benefit from abundance you must first be able to recognize it, and second, you must be able to appreciate it.

Living abundantly is not a selfish act. It is an honorable pursuit. A life lived abundantly is one that also empowers you to give back to others and releases them from some of their pain. To create a life that welcomes abundance is not easy and won’t happen overnight, but beginning the journey will transform you, your community, and your life.

Problematic emotions anger and depression

Emotions can sometimes be enjoyable or, at other times, be destructive.Emotions like love, joy, happiness are wonderful and good.But you also experience anger, sadness, and depression.They are also kinds of emotions but they are harder to carry around and handle.People are able to control it most of the time.But there are situation where these emotions can be dangerous.

For example depression is a tough thing.It might be due to some tragic event that happened in someone’s life.  Things like the loss of a loved one can trigger it.Or it can be caused by a chemical imbalance of your body.  One dangerous emotion that happened in the news is when a man whose depression turned to anger.His situation is so hopeless that his depression turned into anger. He went berserk and he hurt some people.That is an extreme case and it happens rarely but it still and does happen.  That is why as a depression counseling I try to tackle the problem head on before it can turn into anger.

Well, if there are times that it does turn into anger then that is the time that you have to seek another form of counseling.  And that form is anger management San Diego help.Because not like depression where the affected person is always in a passive mood.Anger have the ability to hurt others and can sometimes be fatal.So if one is really dealing with anger then he/she or his/her relatives must see to it immediately before it worsens.

What is the Secret?

In my last article, I talked about there being a secret to success that is literally changing the lives of millions of people all over the globe. In fact, it is called The Secret. You may have heard about it from any number of high-profile successful people who say they use it all the time. Its author has been interviewed by Oprah, Larry King, and on Nightline and The Today Show.

In this email, I’m going to tell you a little bit about how you can put The Secret to work for you.

Even though the author of The Secret, Rhonda Byrne, developed her beliefs from many different philosophical and religious texts, you don’t need to belong to any religious group to learn it and to benefit from it. It works for everyone who is willing to learn it, regardless of their spiritual beliefs, IQ, education, or current situation. Byrne was going through a hard time in her life when she discovered and perfected The Secret, and it helped her so much that she has literally been on a worldwide campaign to share its principles with others.

As you can see, not everyone jumps on the bandwagon. After all, it sounds too good to be true! Peace And Self Help

In today’s hectic world, giving peace seems to be a long lost wisdom.  We’ve got to get ahead, we’ve got to worry about what’s on the news and what’s happening in the world, we’ve got to struggle to keep sane and keep our balance.   The circumstances of our lives seem to cause stress and anxiety on a regular basis.  Peace is a good idea, sure, but in general we don’t feel much of it.  You can get Wisdom Words here.

All of these reasons, though, are exactly why we need peace in our lives.  The actual experience of peace can instantly reduce stress and anxiety and their aftereffects.  Peace can instantly add to the quality of our current experience and to our well being.  It can allow us to enjoy the struggle and flow of life, rather than stress over it.

One of the things you can learn to do is give yourself peace.   Instead of wait for it, instead of hope for it, you can actually give it to yourself regularly.   You don’t have to wait for the circumstances of your life to line up just right so you can relax and feel peace.  You can get more Personal Development Insights here.

There are actually several ways to give yourself more peace.  Here we’ll outline just one simple method.  It will take just three minutes or so a day.  Will you give yourself three minutes a day to start flooding your life with more peace?

Here is a simple peace practice.  It is called “peacefully remaining” or “generous spaciousness.”  You sit alone and quiet for at least three minutes and peacefully remain with whatever shows up in your awareness.  You can have your eyes open or closed.   You can do this in your car before you go in to work, at lunch, or whenever.

For these 3 minutes, you allow or remain peacefully with ANY thoughts you are having.  You don’t try to change them or resist them.  You allow whatever feelings and emotions you are having as well.  You just notice them and allow them.  No trying to make them different.  Whatever arises in your awareness you aim to allow it to be there without struggling or resistance. 

The thing is, we are usually at war with what is.  We are usually trying to manipulate and change our thoughts and feelings to “better” ones.  In this 3 minute practice you do the exact opposite on purpose.  You just allow your thoughts and emotions to be the way they are.  You just breathe and notice them, giving them space, remaining with them peacefully.

When Alcohol Poisoning Serves as a Wakeup Call for an Adolescent

Jeffrey was a high school ninth grader who typically seemed to be living on the edge. Jeffrey had a daring personality and frequently wanted to do what his older brothers were doing for fun. The fundamental difficulty with this was that all three of his brothers were at least 21 years old and were therefore able from a legal framework to operate a car and to consume alcohol.

Jeffrey, on the other hand, had a hard time grasping the fact that as a fifteen-year-old adolescent he should not be drinking alcoholic beverages. In fact, however, Jeffrey often drank with his guy friends after school, especially on the weekends.

One weekend, Jeffrey decided to drive around with some of his older friends. One of his pals was old enough to buy alcohol. After purchasing some beer, wine coolers, and wine, Jeffrey and his friends went to a public park and drank for approximately two or three hours.

Jeffrey Passes Out

After drinking roughly ten wine coolers, Jeffrey started to feel woozy and then vomited. When he became unconscious on the tennis court, one of his cronies called 911 for immediate medical assistance. It was fortunate that the call for emergency assistance was made because when his guy friends went to the hospital to see Jeffrey, they were notified that Jeffrey had been going through alcohol poisoning symptoms. More to the point, Jeffrey had overdosed on alcohol.

When Your Friends Drink Excessively

Jeffrey had heard that drinking excessively can lead to an alcohol overdose but he never thought that this could happen to him. After all, some of his buddies over and over again bragged that they could drink twenty or more bottles of beer in a few hours without experiencing any serious setbacks.

Based on this, Jeffrey was actually shocked to learn that he had overdosed on alcohol because he “only” had more or less ten alcoholic beverages. When he articulated this to the attending healthcare practitioner at the hospital, conversely, the healthcare practitioner informed Jeffrey that drinking ten glasses of wine over a two or three hour period of time could actually be substantially more alcohol than can be processed by the body. The healthcare practitioner further articulated how too much alcohol can cause the brain to shut down an individual’s breathing and that when this comes about, an individual can perish.

The First Signal of Hazardous Drinking

This was the first indication to Jeffrey that he was drinking in a dangerous manner and that there are effects for such deeds. The doctor told Jeffrey that he was a fortunate person because he almost died from an alcohol overdose the night before.

The physicain also talked to Jeffrey’s parents and suggested that they get alcohol rehab for Jeffrey. His parents were pleased that Jeffrey was safe and informed the doctor that they would follow through on getting Jeffrey alcohol rehabilitation.

While chatting with his parents, Jeffrey informed them that there must be a special reason why he did not die and that he felt thankful that he was still alive. He also told his parents that the peculiar part about the entire drinking situation was that he had learned about alcohol poisoning the previous six week grading period in Mr. Franklin’s health class.

When Paying Attention in Class Can Affect Your Life

At the time, what his health instructor, Mr. Franklin, was articulating didn’t seem to make a lot of sense to Jeffrey. Due to the fact that he almost passed away, nevertheless, he felt that he should have listened more carefully in Mr. Franklin’s health class and applied what he had learned to his personal life.

Jeffrey notified his parents that he couldn’t wait to go back to the classroom and make an apology to Mr. Franklin for not showing more attention to a subject that was as important as learning about alcohol abuse and how to keep away from alcohol poisoning.

His parents smiled at Jeffrey and said that they were overjoyed with the way he was accepting responsibility for his negative drinking activities. All he had to do now was to let this near-death experience affect his life in a positive way so that he would never again experience an alcohol overdose.

How To Stop Stuttering

Have you heard about the latest therapy for stammering? This is what is known as specialist stammering therapy. Why? Well because the person who provides the therapy is a person who has had and who more importantly has overcome a stammer.

Stephen Hill was just four years of age when he started to stammer. He attended various forms of speech therapy but this did little to help.

Steve had an ambition and a big one at that, to overcome his stammer. Despite being advised to accept the speech impediment that was ruining his life, Steve continued in his quest to find the “solution to stammering”.

Steve could and would not accept that there was not a cure for stammering. He truly believes that there is only one way that a person should think, positively.

At the age of twenty-two Mr Hill managed to achieve his goal of fluency after working extremely hard to formulate a set of “how to stop stammering techniques”.

How The Peg Method Helps With Memory Improvement

The Peg Method is used if you need to remember varieties of lists for different things.  Some of the more common ones are for work and school.  This memory improvement system works to provide information that has to be in a certain order.It acts like a filing cabinet to bring information back to life. 

The Peg Method works with numbers usually from 1 to 20 and the entire alphabet.  It incorporates new items along with the old items that you are working to remember.  The Peg Method uses a mental component so that you can “hang” the information that you are trying to remember.  Using this component helps to get that information back in your memory bank.

When using the Peg Method for memory improvement, it allows you to remember the things that you need to know.  You will be able to retrieve more information and more items.  Using pegs with numbers allows you to figure out how the items are supposed to be named.  So if you have several items in sequence you may say “Number 3 belongs to so and so.”

You can use the Peg Method as many times as you need to.  With this memory improvement technique, you can memorize various lists of things at the same time while you are using this method.  If you leave space between these lists and use the pegs with other methods, you can learn to memorize a large chunk of information.  

The Peg Method allows you to be flexible.  Some methods will use rhymes that involve numbers and shapes.  The way that you use them will vary on the Peg methods.  This helps to lower interruptions with the information that you want and need to retain in your memory bank.  

You can also use pegs with other memory improvement systems, such as the Loci system.When you do this, it is a way that you can remember large portions of information. 

Using the Peg Method with the alphabet and another method can help you to remember up to a large amount of information.  You would need to have a memory link that is in a sequence of 10.  This gets connected to every letter of the alphabet.

Using the Peg Method is beneficial if you deal with a lot of numbers and letters of the alphabet.You could have a filing system in your brain that you wouldn’t want to get rid of.  This memory improvement system can help you go a long way.

Improve Your Working Memory

Our working memory is what we can recall from moments ago.  Say you are at a party and there are a bunch of new faces you do not recognize.  You introduce yourself to a few individuals and them to you and a few minutes later someone asks you if you know one particular individuals name and you draw a total blank.  You knew you just heard it moments ago, yet you cannot recall it for the life of you.This is what is being referred to as short-term memory loss, your working memory. 

One can improve their short-term memory or working memory by using mnemonics.  Take the same scenario stated above regarding the short-term memory loss of a new name.  If the same person upon introducing their self to the new face would have repeated the name of the individual back to them at introduction and then placed an association with that name mentally, their memory recall would have improved drastically.If the new persons name is April, the person with recall problems could have said “nice to meet you April” while mentally associating the name with April rain, April showers or another association that could be easy to recall. 

Association makes recall easier but not only that; the desire to use memory techniques immediately starts to aid in memory improvement.  Just the mere thought of consciously trying to associate the new name to another thing is registering in the brain as something of high importance; thus making recall simple.

Another great way to keep working memory sharp is by sharing the information just stored.  Taking the same scenario as stated before, had the person learning the new name immediately introduced a spouse or friend to April using April’s name in the introduction would increase the working memory recall improving ones memory overall.  Writing down new information can also be beneficial for some; however, it is not 100% effective for all.  If you are one of those people who jots down notes everywhere yet fails to recall where you jot them down at, this technique would not be beneficial to you.

Act without hesitation

To live each moment purposefully we must work wholeheartedly towards our chosen goals. This means taking confident forward action each day without hesitation. Yet many people never fully commit to their plans or decisions. All their careful analysis, planning and decision-making proves pointless as they fail to make the transition into action. Either they procrastinate or they step forward nervously, wavering on their path as if they were straddling a tight-rope hung over 100 feet in the air. No matter how intelligent you are or how much time you spend debating options, your decisions will not always be correct. And yet you must trust in them once they are made. Remaining undecided is rarely an effective option in life when doing nothing usually means failure. You must choose a path of action as wisely as possible, and then trust fully in your decision.

Once you reach a decision, you must act as if you are 100% certain of it being completely correct! If it were not the very best available option would you have chosen it? So why not act with complete confidence and find out where this choice leads? Taking action is how you turn your planning into tangible results and achieve your goals. This action needs to be determined and aggressive. You must create a positive momentum that cannot be stopped by the usual problems that will rise up to deter you.

As you learn to trust your decisions and pursue your goals with increased vigor, you will realize that even the results of very poor decisions can be managed. In the course of a lifetime, acting with confidence and being sure of your path is far more valuable than any gains made through second-guessing yourself.

Every plan you set, every decision you make deserves the opportunity to be put to the test in the world. It is by seeing your plans unfold, whether they succeed or fail that you either triumph or learn valuable lessons. The successful person often sees hundreds of her plans crash and burn over the years. These then become the lesson and the growth that fuel tomorrows triumphs. Contrast that to the person of little accomplishment, who may have a long list of dreams and even plans to fulfill them, but too often hesitates in taking forward action. Life tends to reward those who pursue their aims, those who summon the courage to step forward.

Eventually you will reach the point where you see all roads leading to your chosen goal. This is a state where you believe that once you take action to reach your goal, even moving backward or weaving side to side will eventually result in forward progress. At this point you no longer wonder if your goals will be reached, instead the question is simply when and how.
